Children’s Day Report – 2021

November 14th is celebrated as Children’s Day Or “Bal Divas” in India. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and his affection towards children. To make this day memorable for our little ones, HariharanandaBalashram, Arua , Kendrapara celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2021, in the school auditorium. The day was focused on children’s learning and also on their enjoyment. Children’s Day celebration began with a special assembly dedicated to the students by the teachers.
The Principal Dr. Malayananda lit the lamp and addressed the children and shared a few words of wisdom. Other teachers like Prasant Kumar Das, Tapan Kumar Patra and Abhaya Kumar Dash spoke about the importance of the day and also rendered a song. Class teachers presented self made greeting cards to the students of their respective classes. Students enjoyed this moment and it was evident through their expressions. The art teacher, MrsSandhyarani Dalai, performed a puppet show specially for our small kids. It was appreciated and enjoyed by all. The vice- principal of the school read our Beloved Sri Guruji’s message to children. Teachers gave Various performances for the students in order to exhibit their love and affection. At last teachers sang the community song together.
Chocolates were distributed to the students. The programme concluded with the National anthem. Wonderful memories lingered over and the students were overwhelmed with joy and happiness.
