National Unit Day Celebration, 2021

As an endeavour to solidify the bond of oneness and unification, Hariharananda Balashram celebrated the birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31th October, 2021 as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity day). Our school organized a programme in the school premises in order to extend their heartfelt appreciation about the life and the involvement of the great leader Sardar Patel, in the veritable contribution during the freedom struggle and to lay a foundation of a united country fused with oneness.
On the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Divas our school vice-principal Vibhuti Daund introduced the Guest of honour Swami Anirvanananda Giri, Assistant secretary of Prajnana Mission, Mr Gokul Chandra Dash, senior demonstrator, chemistry, pattamundai college and kutumba prabodhan pramukh, Kendrapara district and chief guest Smt. Laxmipriya Mohanty, Retired Headmistress Sahadev High School, Aul. The Guest of Honour and the chief Guest speak about Sardar Patel’s life and education to work the nation and praised the tradition and culture of Maratha.
In the mid of the programme our school students performed a cultural programme based on Maratha’s culture. On the end of the programme our school teacher Mr. Anjan Kumar Barik gave the vote of thanks.
A special morning assembly organised in the school choir presented a pledge on National Unity and the role of Sardar Patel in the freedom struggle to establish a harmonious society.
